Usage: Daptomycin for injection is indicated for treating complicated skin and skin structure infections in adults and pediatric patients (1-17 years) caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, and for Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections (bacteremia) in both adult and pediatric patients. Not recommended for pneumonia or left-sided infective endocarditis.
