Usage: Metolazone tablets are indicated for treating salt and water retention due to edema from congestive heart failure and renal diseases. They are also used for hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensives. During pregnancy, metolazone may be prescribed for pathologic edema but is not routinely recommended.
